Saxon Group Travel is headed by Sylvia Saxon, who started arranging tours some 30 years ago whilst in the RAF. Sylvia has arranged and escorted groups to far away places such as China, India, Las Vegas, New York, Boston and Russia.
She also organises many short European Breaks. In 2006 groups saw Prague, Krakow, Venice and Florence, Dutch Christmas Markets, Paris and Disneyland Resort Paris as well as Theatre trips to the West End and in her locality.
Sylvia researches fully all aspects of each tour being promoted and always uses fully bonded Tour Operators.
In many cases, Sylvia visits the country in advance to check the itinerary, quality of hotels and last, but not least, all health and safety aspects. Prior to each tour, Sylvia present to all participants well-documented information and in many cases, a presentation evening, which, is an event in itself.
All destinations are offered with dedication and passion and, as always, giving many people the opportunity to travel to far away places but at affordable prices.
Last year not including the shows, concerts in Bournemouth and Southampton, 938 people travelled with me to places such as South Africa, India, Prague, Chicago, Tuscany, Dublin, Las Vegas, Austria to name just some, thanks to the brilliant people who joined the group, added to the fun and shared so many wonderful experiences, I hope to see you all again sometime in the future, my very best to you all in 2008!
